I don’t understand how it’s possible to steal land.

To many matters worse it’s state land getting stolen.
50,000 per acre in that area I suspect is not modest. I’d imagine the selling price is below that.

Are you insinuating that people who are not land valuers cannot know the approximate selling price of land in a given area?
You could be right and also you have the carte blanche to speculate on the price but you’re a layman. The words of experts carry more weight than those of laymen.
A former director of survey stated that it’s 50,000 an acre, he’s at the 1 minute mark on the video.
