Accountability and responsibility. Kenyans can't Relate!..

Msikose kuclick woiye!..

It’s always the “wakubwas” fault in Kenya.
The ordinary mwananchi can’t do no wrong.
Ata kama ameweka noti ya soo moja katikati ya drivers license ndiyo akipuliwa over akanje masanse soketi asisumbiliwe akiendesha gari unroad worthy!

But that’s the way it is!..

Corruption starts with YOU!

It’s a two way traffic

Fafanua tafathali.

It involves giver and the taker

Corruption starts with you

i am corrupted than a pirated copy windows,my father taught me and i will pass it on.We forget proper channels when dealing with stuff, from fabrication of tales to get climb kunguruswe pay extra for expedited documents, pay watchie asiseme aliona ‘mgeni’ ,bribe our own kids when we leave the house lest they start screaming the bladi heads off being left behind. Its the little things that we do that are tantamount to grand scale corruption

Ati masanse? na kweli ulitoka kenya zamani.

But if you look carefully some of these super developed countries are sad little countries. Underneath the veneer of Japan’s perfection there’s some sort of sadness. Ni kama jela hivi. Usafi crazy. Everything done to the extreme. Like that story just put it unaingia train hivi unakuta a 21 y.o. amelala ni kama amededi. In a full suit and briefcase. You could steal his shoes and he’d never know it. At 21 aren’t you a bit young to be a job slave?

And the stress is easy to tell from the crazy crimes in these countries. Mjamaa anastab mental cases going from bed to bed for no reason at all. He just snapped. Even their horror films tell a story of what the young people are thinking. Extremely violent graphics and death to their society.

and then there’s the loneliness. In Kenya unaweza toka nje ya mlango and start talking to a complete stranger about nonsense. In some of these advanced societies that is even considered harassment. Unataka nini? Why are you talking to me? kwanza kama ni dame…

Watu huko wanakufa solo. Your wife dies you apply for assisted death. Hakuna mtu wa kuongea na wewe. Everyone is busy. Ukikufa kwa hio nyumba no one will ever find you. It’s understandable why these mzungu tu cucus and gukas come to Kenya and refuse to go back.

Hapo Usafi crazy i noticed some time bak i used to be fan wa NHK World,t.v chanel ya japan. Alafu its considered normal to sleep in a train. It shows you are a hard worker

There is no comparison between japan and kenya. One is much more advanced and wealthy. True some japanese are job slaves but arent kenyan women going to dubai to be slaves to arabs?

Better huyo 21 yr old anaweza panga future because ako works inamwezesha to live beyond the poverty line than millions of youths in kenya hawana job or wako underemployed who are hopeless and depressed in life.

wanajiua boss. over 70 a day. Japan has a serious suicide rate. Huwa wanaficha hizi mashida sana.
same with South Korea which is similarly highly developed with almost similar rigid cultural setup. Very high suicude rates. Hizi ni vitu huwa hawasemi. All that ngiritas is not gold. Culture yao ni very rigid. Especially as pertains failure. In Japan ni poa ujiondoe tu ukianguka. Jiue. It all goes back to sepukku or honourable death. An ancient practice of the samurai warriors where they tore open their bellies before being beheaded. Japanese walikataa christianity kata kata, so hizi cultural practices za zamani ni strong sana. Very rigid practices kama zile za wahabi muslim. Hawajui forgiveness na starting over ni lugha gani. Then there’s the education system in these countries: Japan, China, Singapore, South Korea huko kcse inakuwaga life or death literally. So much pressure. Kenya pia tume adopt hizo tabia.

Imefika point japan siku hizi maboy hawaoi. Wanahepa life. They hide in their bedrooms for years. Inaitwa hikikomori. Nchi ni rich, lakini you scratch the surface unakuta mashida hazieleweki. Mashida za kutoka kitambo sana that they don’t like discussing. Today instead of sepuku the elderly especially due to loneliness preffer assisted deaths.

Very insular society too. I saw on NHK there are many restaurants you need to be a member to dine there. To be a member you have to be introduced by another member.
And an immigrant can never be a Japanese citizen.

Lakini pia huku many ppl do not talk about their problems, instead many male youths deal with depression by binge drinking or taking wierd drugs. Even if the youths want to talk to a psychiatrist hawezi juu ya kuwa broke. I agree for now social problems za countries kama Japan are worse than za Kenya.

Its quite true. And I didn’t mean to say that Japan’s social problems are worse or not but that they do exist. Yaani hizo countries mtu anaweza ziona perfect but zina other issues. Yaani the grass isn’t always greener on that side.

Our problems are worse. Socio-political problems; environment conservation, inequality, corruption, diseases and corruption just to name a few. There is no rule of law in Kenya.

We learnt from our founding fathers that it is okay to be corrupt.

Good observation

I would still prefer to be an average japanese than an average kenyan.
