Some Sh3 billion has been recovered from corrupt individuals, President Uhuru Kenyatta said on Wednesday.

In his final State of the Nation address before the country goes to the August elections, President Kenyatta exuded confidence that his government was winning the war against corruption.

He attributed the success to the enactment of stringent laws and the establishment of agencies to coordinate the fight against the vice.

What kind of evidence do you need to confirm that 500,000 jobs were created? Maybe a newspaper advert inviting 500,000 people to apply for jobs? Ama?

Angalau some people have been employed not solely on sgr but barabara,pylons, dams, new uni eg mama ngina revived mtongwe ferry more police have been employed etc etc but you cannot see, you are too blinded by your misguided hatred and bitterness

So, the president is supposed to tabulate the number of jobs created in each sector and factory, using ID numbers? Why are we this stupid honestly, why?

you expect direct jobs, what about the indirect jobs. eg sgr has direct employees. then other people provide services to these workers like food, alcohol, accomodation, Commercial sex etc etc now thats indirect. then after the sgr is complete it will open up areas where business can thrive, more employment etcetera …

One of the functions of the Ministry of labor is Facilitating and Tracking Employment Creation so don’t tell me we can’t get data from the government.
