Very respectable analysis @Jimit. Such advice would guide a person to a purchase decision. You and @Soprano are growing to be de facto leaders of this section. I respect that.
I for one look into the future and Oxygen OS is way better than one-UI. Oneplus Nord will update to Android 13 while A71 probably leaves you at 12 (best case).
One thing that most talkers do not appreciate is the weight of devices. The truth is heavier devices are harder to use for extended periods. You can’t comfortably watch a series on Netflix for several hrs on a 210 gms phone for example without getting fatigued.
Talkers also incorrectly assume that a larger display means the phone should be heavier. Well the LG velvet is close to 6.8" but only weighs 180 gms.
Talkers also incorrectly assume that a bigger battery size equates to a longer battery life. Well Huawei and Google devices are able to achieve better battery than the A71 while having 3300 mah batteries. Xiaomi software is poorly optimized for battery life that’s why talkers want 6000 mah xiaomi phones.
Lastly, I am really excited about vivo - it’s a bbk company which seems to be quite innovative. Their gimbal cameras have been exceptional. Their phones are quite light too (160gms - 170 gms) . Their new software that will replace funtouch os seems to be extremely well thought out. I really want to have a feel of Origin os. Can’t wait.
@Jimit I also own some Jabra elite 75T earbuds which cost me 27,000 Ksh. They have an equalizer app which gives me the chance to tweak the sound.
Also I can wear them everywhere coz they have external microphones which help you hear other people speak as you listen to music. They also come with Google assistant and Alexa installed so I use them to control gadgets and TV kwa nyumba.
Talking to people clearly while having your earbuds playing your favourite tracks is the best thing since sliced bread.
