A Very Smart Teacher

A teacher entered a classroom and found the chair he was supposed to sit in hanging from the ceiling.

He looked at the students and smiled.

Without saying a word, he approached the Black Board and wrote:

Test: 15 minutes - 30 points:

Question 1.
Calculate the distance between the chair and the floor in centimeters (1 point).

Question 2.
Calculate the angle of inclination of the chair relative to the ceiling and show the calculations performed (1 point).

Question 3.
Write the name of the student who hung the chair from the ceiling and the names of the friends who helped him. (28 points)

Within 25 minutes , the identities of all the culprits concerned were revealed.

Smart? Maybe, and maybe not. Here, STEM is overated. Discipline is not a mathematical problem, it’s an ethical one. Next time they might hang him up instead, and he won’t solve that with calculations.
