A Kenyan met and formed good friendship at work with a person from one of the Caribbean Islands. After many years of hard work, they decided to form a partnership exporting goods to the Island. They put equal amounts into the business kit.
The Kenyan took sabbatical leave, purchased all the goods for shipping and ensured they containers was at the port ready for departure, however it did not arrive as expected at its destination; therein lie the problem.
The container disappeared without a trace at the port of Mombasa; all savings spent on air flights, and bribes while trying to trace the container.
With lifesaving’s depleted, from endless demands for more money at the port, the person went underground, into hiding, no money to repay the business partner.
How can a container with proper documentation disappear without a trace, worse of all, everyone demand money to do a trace, each round Ksh200, 000?
Not known, just no trace, probably Port staff are refused to do the proper thing so as to continue receiving money / bribes. Destination port had no record of container coming to the port.

The Liberian-registered vessel rolled heavily in the foul weather causing the 83 containers to slide off, while another 30 were damaged, the New South Wales Roads and Maritime Service said on Saturday.
