Guys, I had just booked a bus from Mombasa to Kisumu using Dreamline but cancelled in enough time several days before the departure.
Dreamline doesn’t refund you money but they give you a voucher (which they cut 300 shillings) which is only valid for the next 30 days. You can use the voucher to book for another person and let the guy give you the money.
Problem is, you’ll have to look for the person yourself. And so I decided to forward the voucher message to the Dreamline attendant doing the booking and we agreed he’ll look for the other guy.
Fast forward it’s over one week the guy has blocked me and keeps on telling me he hasn’t found a person.
Also remember while I was doing the booking the bus was quite empty and I cancelled the book just the next day so while getting the voucher it’s obvious the bus was not yet fully full. (Though remember the guy has only access to those booking through him in Kilifi)
Now this matter is just between me and the guy. But this guy looks set to run with my money. The money is a lot. I booked using 4000, they cut 300 so that’s 3700 remaining. (Note that I am not yet a working class person)
Ankia number ya huyo jamaa kwa buyer beware on facebook, back it up with receipts and text messages for your post to be approved. Then wait for vultures to descend on that guy and the company, trust me watatapika hiyo pesa in a minute and plead with you to take down that post
The problem is between you and the attendant. You’ll be tarnishing Dreamline’s name for nothing yet hao walishakusort.

How does he “keep telling you” hajapata mtu yet he has blocked you?
Had you thought of using their FB page kupata msafiri? Wale huuliza “ni how much” as if they can’t see the prices.
Or just going there physically and waiting for said msafiri.
Dreamline refund deal is biased towards client too. At least they are supppoesd to refund the amount minus ksh.300. Mbona sgr wasitupatie voucher tujitaftie clients kama conductor?

Lakini @Ren Riddick just know if you’re not already a member of Buyer Beware it’s gonna be hard for your post to be approved. Hawapendi people who like the page just when they need help. Long term members ndio hupewa priority. Halafu hao uitisha OB number pia kabla wapost. Just threaten that guy that you’re going to contact the company’s management for a refund and/or post his details on FB. If he knows what’s at stake he’ll refund fast. Lakini most cons huwa vichwa ngumu, they must witness the consequences ndio wajue uko serious.
