having browsed through ktalk anonymously for the the last five months i have come to admire talkers and this tight knit community.
things have not been rosy for me for the last four months, i have hit rock bottom. I had a nice clothing boutique that i was running but it fell through after being conned money. I have had to move my young family from a 2 bdr house to a bedsitter and i have sold some of my house furniture and electronics in the process so as to continue providing, now i just cant anymore. I come to you guys as a shattered man looking for a job opportunity, any job around Thika town and environs , i wont mind the job description so long as its a starting point so that i can patch my life up. I was taking a diploma in procurement and supplies managemnt at KIM but i stopped midway. anybody out there with a job opening please reach me on my inbox. THANKS A LOT IN ADVANCE

  1. Sit down with a paper, pen and your wife. Calculate the minimum amount you need to survive. Let’s assume its 30k. The first objective is figuring out how to raise that 30k.
  2. Check your employment options. To be honest, most casual jobs will net around 15k per month eg supermarket jobs, waiters etc.
  3. Both of you are adults. Both of you will have to go to work.
    → since most jobs that you are likely to land will pay 15k, figure out how to support your family on a 30k budget.
    NB: If you have more than one kid, you are fucked
