A bit of Poetry

Dead at Lust

I had to lie

Just to make her mine

It’s not right, that I know

It’s not right, that I can’t deny

Nevertheless, I had to try

A basal hassle it were

A show of wit and muscle I won

Now she’s mine

Now we wine and dine

Weaving our love in time

To her my heart I grant

With hers as one to band

She’s indeed a fine brand

A beauty so rare

A beauty beyond compare

Her eyes, her beautiful smile

Pleasant, far beyond a mile

The apple of my eye

Come day, come night

Always within my sight

Together we form a pair

On and on we dare

Without fear of their stare

Or even their snare

Our soul, mind and heart

Bonded and sealed, a single pack

With might or even luck

This, you can’t tear or part

In case you even try

Alas you end up dying

Six feet you go down

Forever, cuddling with the ground

In box, cold, rotting, food for the worm

In bed, bold, making love, we keep it warm

Composed, stress-free, our love is tight

Decomposed, my friend, you’re turning dust

Fading away, you are now a past

Forgotten, in memory, you‘ll soon be wiped

Same way as first, our love, bound to last

So way a fast, your hopes, of love, is dead at lust
