The pupils from St Gabriel Academy were returning from a trip to Mombasa and were only two kilometres from their destination. https://mobile.nation.co.ke/counties/8-pupils-die--28-seriously-injured-in-Mwingi-crash/1950480-4697944-view-asAMP-cvlhab/index.html
Damn, this is tragic.
Very sad. My thoughts are with them all especially the grieving parents. This w/e I have listened to one bad news after another…left, right and center.
may their souls rest in eternal peace
Schools that are taking their pupils to Mombasa should use the SGR.It’s much safer.
it is cheaper if they have their own school bus. in any case even if they used the SGR there would still be the last miles on both ends.
Night travel for school buses was banned but as usual the police look the other way school bus ikipita wrong hrs. We need matiang’i back in this ministry to enforce the rules especially this time ya music festival. Lots of schools are heading to nyeri.
