In terms of health wise you actually do need 8 hours of sleep so hapo you can’t compromise but on the other hand he’s also right akisema you can’t be waking up late in the name of you had to get your 8 hours of sleep. That’s poverty you’re trying to flirt with.

Find a balance. Say get to sleep at 9.30 and wake up 5.30. Exercise hadi 6.30 and start your day.

There’s a certain thrill/sense of accomplishment in getting things done, turning in work early, getting over difficult tasks, getting to the office early and catching up on things when others are still stuck at Muthaiga etc…You cannot do that then you spend a lot of time asleep.

It’s not a matter of sleeping or lack of it …it is what you do with the extra hours you are awake.Wengine wetu waenda bed 4 am na ametoka rave atakua tajiri lini?

i used to sleep for 8 or more hours,now i only do 3hrs to 6hrs max and surprisingly i am ok,before 11pm i just cant find sleep

The cost that one will pay for short sleep nights later on in life is too dear.

The sense of accomplishment is good, but sleep is primarily used for your body and mind to recover. Your body doesn’t give a shit if you feel accomplished. It requires recovery. I say this as a former 4 hrs a night guy. Get your 7 hours in an d watch your productivity which you’re so worried about escalate.

Rich people think because they made it, everything they say should be documented. “Famous guy once said” quotes and other bullshit. Same is reflected to society… We tend to listen more to the rich despite their source of wealth being questionable. I often tell people, incubate your own style.

This is my sleep pattern … and I go against it on very few occasions! I mean very few!

In 24 hr economy this shouldn’t matter. But it’s nice to be able to cruise to work in a few bcz pple are not yet on the road. In hot areas people sleep a lot bcz of the heat and also must work earlier and at night when it is cooler. So some of these things aren’t universal. It depends on your individual circumstances and situation.

Personally my sleep is sacrosanct coz I am those people who can’t sleep with noise, light, when I travel or I move to new places or watch disturbing news I don’t sleep well . I don’t sleep well in hotels or anywea strange that’s not my house. I also can’t sleep during the day no matter how tired I am.

A naturopath told me that the best sleep is between 7pm and 2am.He told me it’s so therapeutic it could heal you of a disease.

Frankly speaking, I can sleep easily and 9-10 hours without any interrupting. I was always a sleepyhead and I like to sleep a lot. I really get pleasure from it and it is the best rest for me. Especially, I like satin, cotton bedlinen so it is a little cold, but not so slippery as silk. An only orthopedic pillow and latex mattress that offers the softest cozy sleep and tactile feelings. More then all in my bedroom I ordered a cool adjustable bed of the new generation that adjusts to the position of your body which ensures the most ergonomically correct sleep. To tell the truth, it is really impossible to wake up and get up from this bed.
