7.6 Billion

I swear the global population is rising fast. Just a few years ago in 2011, the world’s population peaked at 7 Billion. In 7 years 600million human beings have been born and we are on a fast track to reaching 8 Billion human beings by 2021.

Africa countries will witness some of the fastest growths as healthcare improves which will lead to more babies being born, and older people living longer. How will we provide jobs for all these people and at the same time dominate the future of man? If weren’t wiped out in 30 years.

I can feel the evil group of billionaires hatching plans to reduce populations through war, a famine or with some crazy diseases.

I am ready to volunteer as among the first Immigrants to Mars pale Cydonia to be specific…

Thanos & co.=new world order

Earth’s population should be kept at 500 million as to be in balance with nature. this is just ridiculous

Demographics is funny. In the west they are dealing with baby boomer problems, even in developed asians countries like Japan where people are not climbing each other. In U.S. fo example, their pensioners are too many and the working population cannot sustain them or replace the aging workforce. They demographic ni pyramid. Which makes me wonder how US will be down the line when they kick out all immigrants.

On the other hand, as someone mentioned hapo juu, Africa and developing countries in Asia and south and central America are procreating like rats as couchwaru likes to say. We have no jobs, no industry to take up the work force.

The solution is they just build a bridge across the Mediterranean and the Suez canal we cross bila kusumbuliwa.

The twin scourges of unsustainable population growth and climate change will spark one of Mankind’s worst Amargeddon. It is probable that the earth will enter a new age, as in when the dinosaurs became extinct.

As I have said here before, Africans in general do not seem aware of what is heading their way and continue living oblivious of the coming tragedy. Anybody who was living as recently as the 1980s remembers all the rivers we had. The rains came on time, and the harvests were incredible. Just 30 years down the line the rivers have dried up, and some areas are going for a decade without a decent crop.

Meanwhile, in @Mworia Wameru 's form, people are still ferking and breeding like rats. It seems the average African thinks that the rest of the world will always come to his help with food aid. BUT the donor countries themselves - America, Australia etc are experiencing unprecedented droughts and shortfalls in food production due also to an ageing population.

Nature has been trying to correct the situation of human over-population by throwing up the occasional virus - Ebola, HIV - but we invariably beat it with our technology. In the next 100 years, I believe Mother Nature will throw us the big one - a mass extinction event that will leave the earth with less than 100 million people. And climate change will be at the centre of it.

I can see how you have been brainwashed by the mzungu biased knowledge of the world most important of Africa.
Now let’s demystify the population hogwash the birth rate to mortality rate (18.5 - 9.5 =9) per 1000 the net comes 68m persons, but on the other hand the ratio of old persons by 2050 will be 18% a near 2Billion persons will be dead past that year. So even reaching the 10Billion persons will a near impossible task.
Since 2000 the birth rate have been reducing significantly and a good example would be Bangladesh. Where with education and development women become conscious of the children they have… And yes Africa is slowly following behind.
Now let’s see the size of Africa in comparison to the world…Can we! If you could take China, India, Europe and the US yes all of them put them in Africa will still have some spare land to fit all all other countries in the Americas less Canada and Brazil… So Africa with it’s just a billion people we are way far. But expect that it’s acceptable that some mzungu who did the biggest genocide in history, still illegally own the vastest fertile lands in the continent!!!
Am tied!!!.. (mic dropped).

I usually find it difficult to understand your kind of reasoning. How do you wake up just one day and you want to fight with facts?

Population growth may be slowing in countries like Bangladesh but is it in Burundi? Have you ever heard of the term carrying capacity (as opposed to absolute land area)? Can Africa today feed itself (and please don’t give us crap about if we did things better, we ain’t)? Ethiopia was asking for food aid in 1984 and again in 2017. What was the population then and now?

Please, let’s try to think harder.

Poa poa kihii. Umejipima level ya oestrogen leo tujue umama utafikisha wapi?

I stand by my facts… Population is and will never be the problem. I will not go back to factual point coz umenikataza, but history shows that population increase did bring about most of the world important stages like Iron Age, industrial and the others.

eeeh, nimepima na nimeona bado level yako ya umama imenishinda 1000 times so chin up, am not taking the tiara from you anytime soon

All those historical ages you talked about human beings increased as a way of doing something became easier like defending, conquering, farming, domestication of animals, etc.

In the 21 century life is becoming a lot more automated with self driving cars, fully automated factories etc. With increasing populations globally what will all these people do?

You say population isn’t a problem how about when the Bubonic plague wiped out half of Europe? Because of an increased population and dirty euros living in over packed cities like sardines

You can begin playing your part by dying

You really don’t have to fuck if you don’t feel like it. You can always have someone fuck you instead because that will result in zero procreation or better yet you could just choose to masturbate!

Seriously, you are ferking stupid…(from your avatar)

Land conflicts are getting hot. Water conflicts are getting hot. Soon we will start having food riots. On this last one Kenya will have food riots as early as January 2019 because there will be little food and it will be unaffordable because of Uhuru’s government’s appetite for taxing everything

ho set the earths population at any specific figure. I also stand by the same stand that population is not a problem. There is enough land and resources for many more only that humankind has not been able to harness these to be more equitably shared. Also greedy systems like capitalism, apartheid and racism etc meant to subjugate rather than promote targeted classes of people have not helped either.
Take kenya for example, we have very poor land use culture. Why for example are we so poor at adopting modern farming technologies like simple drip irrigation. Why the hell do we use our ever smaller pieces of land to bury kin when we can cremate. Why is every young man in town riding motorcycles instead of farming. Why is farming so difficult/unprofitable yet we eat every day? Why are pastrolists keeping untenable numbers of animals just for culture?
Where Africa is heading with its population growth is towards a disaster that will come with a realization that we have to be more innovative with our land just like Israel. Also when a society becomes more educated and sophisticated then popuulation growth takes care of itself by actually stagnating. Again globalization and intergration will become inevitable as labour has to move where there is serious shortage like in the west. Tuzaane tupige wazungu ara!!
