50% Tax on Gambling Companies

To be very honest, yaani mtu tu anakam anakwachu nusu ya doh zako to build a National Sports and Arts Fund, when companies like Sportpesa have done more than expected???

And we all know what gava does when it creates a fund. Thats 80% of admin, the rest on other things while 5% ndio inafikia mayouth.

I find this very very unfortunate and I suggest hawa makampuni zishikane ziende kortini wachallenge hii ujinga.

but what is their input other than advertising costs? kama ni IT infrastructure you can be sure they have recouped their costs several million times over…

Vices are always taxed like that. You’re milked dry.

What Sportpesa has done for sports in this country in the few years it has been in existence no company has done and will never do. even the government itself

they should include a tax relief for those that are heavily taking part in CSR like sportpesa. That will encourage them to do even more and enjoy more tax relief. In other news, this 50% tax may also just be a boon for sportpesa since the other houses may close shop leaving it to monopolize the market

Back to international bookies

These companies make way too much money for a start and its not like they have that much operational costs.

Advertising . CSR and the rest is change. Wages etc. You get.

Two is this tax will be based on profits ; similar to corporate tax
