1…No interference in the development paths of individual countries;
2…no interference in their internal affairs;
3…no imposition of China’s will;
4…no attachment of political strings regarding assistance;
5…and no seeking of selfish political gains in investment and financing cooperation
This is the exact opposite of the US policy in Africa
That’s what they want you to believe.
Btw did you know that it not only in Africa that China is doing this. In Australia, the locals protested after a Chinese holding company wanted to buy controlling stake in a National electricity transmission company. In Canada, the Chinese have been blocked from buying key mining companies and crown corporations. They are also driving up real estate and farm land prices.
It is an onslaught.
Wala umbwa ni meffi
Chinku ni kama siafu, and most have zero morals.
And in Germany, they are buying very many SMEs
A leader who uses another country’s expertise means that he or she has no confidence in the education system in his own land, doesn’t it? We have engineers and architects, we even have a military. So why train all these professionals?
This all makes sense when the belt and road is mentioned. The projects belong to the Chinese and not the African.
Kenya we have papers engineer but in technical term we have zero
They are after superior German technology. Combine that with Asian ant-like work ethics and you have one unstoppable animal.
Then why train them in a NATIONAL Campus? Why make all these parents pay all these school fees?
Reli ijengwe na Mchina ilhali mtoto wako ako kwa nyumba akiwa jobless. Do we ever ask for accountabilty from these our leaders? Hii school fees yote ni ya nini kama lab hazina equipment?? Tell that govt. to leave, common sense would dictate!
Why bring Jews to Galana Kulalu? What are Egerton and Moi University for? All these Agriculture and agricultural research graduates… ni wa nini???
Mnasoma ya nini in a national university? A national university which means they work with a govt. masterplan concerning educating your asses to fulfil national goals. Why train you and they won’t give you jobs?
Industrialization and lack of technical skills, ni kama ile cycle ya poverty, most public universities offering engineering courses have poorly equiped, rundown engineering labs and mainly depend on foreign donors for lab equipments.
For example in a mechanical engineering lab in one of the public universities there are around 20 CNC machines but only 3 are working.
GOK doesn`t invest in engineering labs, universities are allowed to offer engineering courses without having the required engineering labs and then after graduation the ERB inaambia the engineering graduates masomo yao ni bandia.
Kenya will only have skilled engineering graduates after GOK realizes that instead of, buying prados for wakubwa and leasing helicopters for the Dp Ruto to tangatanga in the country akikata ribbons za kulaunch, footbridges, boreholes, pit latrines etc, they can improve the skills of engineering graduates by equiping the public universities engineering labs.
And still they are building a road with under sea tunnel all the way to Pakistan
Hope Uhuru , Ruto and Rotich are watching keenly
Maybe with coming generations, the new parents will ask tough questions because when one stands and watches the myriad of villagers, thousands of them, who throng the graduation squares every year… COMPLETELY CLUELESS, mtoto amesoma nini!
They are just happy their baby has finally graduated from University. The first one in the family. Na sasa ‘atapewa’ kazi na serikari tukufu ya Uhuru wa Kenyatta…
These is what Americans call getting a raw deal from the man. Or being screwed.
Raila visited K.U. to open the engineering wing as Prime Minister na kama kawa akalipua, “This is not an engineering lab Mrs. Mugenda!”
From what I heard he compared the place to a village primary school lab if it was in Germany. He is right but he is also Prime Minister! Umesomea Germany, Mugenda amesomea U.S. si mletee hio ujuzi?!
Sasa mkilipuana mbele ya illiterates…
Mugenda naye anajenga mall na petrol station na hotel pale Mombasa. Na pesa za shule. Watoto hawana school bus ama sleeping quarters. And you want to compete with MIT or Peking University. This should be the dialogue Mr. Odinga not referendum.
those pillars are wat they want you to believe. unfortunately, they interfere with local politics alot, in Africa
POTUS Trump has the right medicine for chinku. They must be stopped. They either learn to do business the right way or be taken out.
