Very luxurious
Areas za Kilimani/Kileleshwa/Lavington hukuwa na very beautiful apartments. I would highly recommend them to a loaded bachelor who wants to RENT. Buying is a whole different story.
Huge space, great interior set up, very cheap prices. You guys should travel a little muone Kenyan apartments are actually better and cheaper than elsewhere.
I pay $3000 for a 1 bedroom apartment apa Vancouver. Comparing mine to the apartments I see in Kilimani/Kileleshwa/Westlands, the Kenyans ones are much much bigger and better in all ways. Difference ni ati I have AC, washer + dryer alafu insane views of the city’s skyline.
Dollar for dollar, these Kilimani apartments are better. $50k for a one bedroom? Goddamn it!!! The same apartment uku will set you back $600k
.
Before I left Kenya I used to say apartments ni uninhabited but now I realize that they make sense in Nairobi. December I will look at those apartments.
Goal is to buy an apartment in Westlands/Kilimani/Kileleshwa alafu you build a very nice maisonette in Ngong near the hills for impeccable views if you need those. I see Airbnb mansions in Ngong (holiday homes) going for $150+ a night). Ata Nanyuki you should have a holiday home and charge $200 a night. I’ve been looking at Airbnb in Kenya and I’ve seen crazy holiday homes in Kajiado and Nanyuki.
What is wrong omwami? Those apartments are value for money. I used to think the same too until I landed in Vancouver and saw how expensive worse apartments are. Similar apartments here go for $600k minimum.
Kenya is a bargain. I’m surprised you guys aren’t scooping these apartments up before expats start flocking there like they did in Capetown and bought everything there. Mzansi saa izi locals are just crying everyday about how their city caters to foreigners. In Kenya, you have an advantage now so buy when you can. Ata mimi nitashika kadhaa nikikuja December.
Apobee still hallucinating?
Nunua ulijue jiji. Did you even watch the video uone vile wameinsist they use their lawyers for all transactions. That already was a red flag from a simple marketing video. Pia nimeskia sectional titles will be issued AFTER the project is sold out. That’s another red flag. Hii ni Kenya gathee not majuu where property rights are respected and upheld. Take time and read the many sob stories from buyers all over Nairobi. Wengine continue to pay rent disguised as “service charge” to the developer who sold the project.
Zile apartment za Centum ulinunua ama ulikua unafanya window shopping wakufungulie Moja ukunie ndani uskie nikama you’re in Manhattan
It doesn’t have to be this particular project. It could also be that the guys are not articulate while communicating in English. My point is that there are very nice apartments in Nairobi whose value for money is incredible compared to what’s in the West.
Service charge makes sense. Who will pay for the elevator, security and garbage collection? Somebody has to.
I have no idea what you’re talking about.
Maybe. Maybe not. I have no experience in the West. So siwezi comment hapo. But I would think property is expensive in the West because its also easier to earn money there. That $600k would take a lifetime to earn in Kenya if you are lucky.
If you adjust for purchasing power, the property in Canada might even be cheaper.
It’s not any easier to make $600k here mkubwa ![]()
. The only saving grace is that it’s easier to save $100k and put that as a down payment so you can take advantage of the cheap interest rates when you borrow.

Huku vumbistan to earn $600k from scratch legitimately and in less than 5 years is nearly impossible. Lazima watu waumie mahali ndivyo upate that kind of money in the Kenyan economy that quickly. That’s the unwritten rule.
Huku ukiona mtu below 35 from a poor background with that kind of money jua kuna watu waliumia mahali and you will be right 95% of the time. Utapata kuna barabara/hospitali/dam etc ilikuwa ijengwe na haikujengwa. Ama upate wakulima walipata mchanga badala ya fertilizer, ama dawa zilipotea pale godown za kemsa etc. Something must give. Its very hard to make such a figure with clean hands in such a short time in Kenya.
Haha, sasa huyu anasema nini?
Anapenda delusions of grandeur.
What delusions? Where’s the delusion here? Owning one apartment, a maisonette near the city and a holiday home far away ni delusions?
You guys are small-minded idiots. Many Kenyans have two homes. One in the city and one in the village. The only difference is that I also want an apartment.
Aaah watu ya bedsitters.
What have I said that isn’t doable? Who are you trying to impress with these snarky comments? Your girlfriend ako Kenya Talk? Mnakuanga na very weird traits. Fucking idiots behaving like they’re still in primary school.
Wewe Alex/applebee/dukeofdillusionshire si ulisema umetoka kabete juzi Sahi uko Kwa apartment ya 3000$ a month ![]()
sasa unajam nini? Ama mental illness imekick in tena? Meza dawa boss, you are not okay.
You guys are so used to Kenyans who move abroad with nothing
. Your circles are horrible. Change them. Not all of us move with $20 in our pocket and have to do menial labor to survive.
