They get paid by corporates to promote their campaigns on social media and sometimes by politicians or business rivals to spread propaganda. Some like Alai have blogs that generate passive income from adverts.

They get paid by corporates to push brands they also get paid by organizations and activists to mobilize an agenda. Itumbi is employed by the government in other words you pay him.

Anyone can be a blogger, its just because they have many followers but these can also be bought.
