Finally someone mentioned Banshees of Inisherin. It’s my second or third best movie of 2022.

Actually, most of these movies kwa hii list haina woke content. In fact, some like Glass Onion seemed to go against that wave.
@skylerz this seems like a typical list that would come up on google if you google best films of 2022. Either way I have watched 3/4 and yes. most are decent. Lakini iyo Everything Everywhere All At Once kuna venye sikuipenda. Iyo Prey I didnt love it at all. Any Predator film adaptation that isnt close to the storyline ya Predator ya Arnold Schwarzenegger or Alien Vs Predator is trash kwangu.
The Menu is a must watch for anybody that hasnt watched it. That was some very original storyline.
Sijaelewa adi saa izi mbona Babylon ilifail kwa Box Office yet its a very decent movie.
Maybe problem ilikuwa marketing. Unaona movie kama megan was well marketed mpaka saa hii inachafua box office.
Its better to watch series. You easily get glued as the story develops. You go to watch some of these blockbusters and you wonder if you have just seen a b movie.
Damn. Yaani Prey haikukubamba? I thought it was the best since the original but pia inaweza kuwa nostalgia goggles. I’ll rewatch the original and see if I still have the same childlike sense of wonder I had for the original back when.
Kuna movie I watched a few months ago inaitwa On the Count of Three. I wanted to make a post but nikaona majamaa wataanza ati girly… gay… sissy etc. If you haven’t watched it ijaribu and let us know what you think of it.
