The judging panel was impressed by her wit, her unrelenting commitment & dedication to constructive discussions & debates, her firm grasp on a wide array of topics and issues, her stand in support of the largely marginalized gay community and for successfully standing up to cyber-bullies and chauvinistic elements in Kenya’s online communities.

As one talker noted, she adds a fresh, interesting twist to Kenya’s online discussion forums.

The awards were judged by a panel of esteemed Village Elders and leading online community experts identified and appointed by BAKE (Bloggers Association of Kenya). The judging was a rigorous two stage process including pre-scoring to determine shortlists and a judging meeting where entries are discussed and evaluated in detail to decide the winning entries.

The reporting accountants who vouched and verified the final vote tally were PricewaterhouseCoopers (CPA-K)
