10 surrender to DCI over illegal sale of Mau Forest

People have started surrendering themselves, the message it getting clear.

According to the County Criminal investigation officer (CCIO), those who presented themselves and are accused of having issued title deeds knowing well it was gazetted forest include;

The surveyors are;
Justone Mugaka
George Ngaiya
Joseph Muhori
S.M. Muketha

Thee registrars are;
John Chepkirui,
A.S Bamoza
J.O Onyambu

The government has disclosed that it had also obtained names of prominent people who illegally sold huge chunks of land excised from the Mau Forest Complex to unsuspecting people.
The big shots are now targeted as the government sets the stage for the second phase of the evictions.

And on another matter the British PM Theresa May is scheduled to visit Kenya end August 2018, three days after President Uhuru Kenyatta’s meeting with US President Donald Trump in Washington.
