You are on steroids you guy. I have also been here to Lagos which is their economy powerhouse in fact. I have also been to Abuja. There is no way the financial industry of Nigeria beats Kenya.

We have 47 banks for a 45m population while Nigeria has 27 banks for its population of 173m people. This clearly shows competition and innovation in our sector. Most of the lending to GOK is by local banks through T-Bills and bonds while Nigeria has more foreign debt than Kenya. This shows that we are able to power our economy more than they can.

We have withstood shocks against the rising value of the dollar more than the Rand and Naira.
Our GDP is more diversified with Agriculture, Tourism, Foreign Remittances and Manufacturing powering us while Nigeria relies on oil for 70% of government revenue and accounts for 90% of export revenue.

Who told you the number of banks is directly propotional to the finacial stability of a nation. Yes they have 27 bank which serve a population of 180M and Kenya has 47 banks which are either collapsing or on the verge of collapsing.
Nigerias GDP is $500bilion and ranks 25th in the world while kenyas is $70b and ranks 75th in the world. Unemployment rate stands at 6% while kenyas stands at 9% despite their enormous population tf!!! My friend you can never compare nigerias economy with that of kenya…Nigerias economy is even bigger than that of Egypt Tunisia Morrocco… Their MTN spreads across west central south and parts of East africai.e UG cmmon man how many oga song plays in clubs compared to our locals??? Of course they will have a higher GDP since they are the 6th largest producer of Oil in the world.

My point is that economically we have been doing better against them for the past one year. We had a growth rate of 5.9% for the first quarter of 2016 while they shrank by 2.06% and they are in a recession
