Recently, I have questioned whether the Trump/Netanyahu alliance has fallen into a false prophecy trap by “evangelical pastor” John Hagee.
Trump is by far the most unpopular President in all of US history. He has bankrupted the US, destroyed the stock market, launched an existential war in Iran. All because he listened to some false prophets in the White house who lied to him that God spared his life in Butler, PA for Israel’s sake. Meanwhile, the US/Israel are facing heavy losses in the Middle East. The crow spectacle over Tel Aviv is a harbinger of worse things to come. Oil is at $116/barrel!!
Did they really consult God? I wonder.

In 1 Kings 22, 400 false prophets urged King Ahab of Israel to fight Aram at Ramoth-gilead, falsely promising victory to please him. A “lying spirit” allowed by God influenced these prophets, leading Ahab to his death in battle, as correctly foretold by the true prophet Micaiah, who warned against the campaign.
The Deception: King Ahab and King Jehoshaphat of Judah consulted prophets before battle. While 400 prophets said “Go up,” they were lying.
False Prophet Persona: One key prophet, Zedekiah son of Chenaanah, used props, such as iron horns, to falsely claim victory.
The True Prophet: Micaiah son of Imlah was summoned reluctantly by Ahab, who claimed, “I hate him because he never prophesies anything good about me”.
The Outcome: Micaiah prophesied that Ahab would die and the army would scatter, which came to pass.
The account highlights the danger of following leaders who say only what the listener wants to hear rather than the truth, often termed “false prophecy”.
