Why these slum young thugs dont fear death

I was watching a proggy on youtube (nitawapea link nikiipata). So they were interviewing the gf of the already slained thug. She tells how the thug lured her with money pale Monte carlo reggae and with no time they were an item.

She says at 1st hakujua ni mwizi but as time moved on akajua ni mwizi wa “kidungi” (gun). Since she was from a poor b/g and had already enjoyed the goodies that come with thuggery and was in love she decided to kazana na boy and accepted him as he was.

Every day/night he left with his gang for mission she be left behind worried incase her mans is killed by akina hesy or mob justice. One night the gang came back home with the loot but one of the gang member was not with them. She asked na ako wapi Morio. They said he was killed.

He pulled mans aside and said babe si uwache hii kitu. Sasa ukikufa utaniwacha na nani. He laughed and said skiza baby " hii mchezo(uwizi) ukishakubali kuingia ni kama umeshauza kichwa yako…ni tuu mtu wakuchukua kichwa yako amechelewa. In short these thugs huwa already washa sign death contract. That’s why u will never see any of them pleading with akina Hesy wakati they are told to kneel down ndio wapasuliwe kichwa.

Panyaste venye wewe uko in touch na story za wasee wa petco nashuku you were a former gangster

Funny thing. Hawa vijana wakipata pesa kidogo kazi ni kuflex pesa inaisha bila kufanya kitu ya maana. Sad life

Watch the video.

Inakuanga Bhangi na a need to belong. They find their identity in those gangs. Nakumbuka that 17 year old gir in Kayole I followed that saga all through. Including her boyfriend and their exchanges with the cops. The boyfriend daring the cops kama wewe ni mwanaume mbona unaingisha watu hawako. Kama wewe ni mwanaume kuja face to face tupatane. At the time I kinda felt the chic was easy pickings and collateral damage. But these thugs and the police know each other. In the 90s I was friends with a most wanted thug called Bob aka “Aziz”. Alikua footballer na nusu before he went astray and started armed robberies. The funny thing alikua kwa magazeti ati most wanted yet everyone who knew him knew where to find him. He was hiding in plain sight even coming out at night to have drinks. But siku yake ilifika. You live by the gun you die by the gun. Siwezi sahau hio pick up full of policemen speeding in to come for him. Pia hao policemen huvuta bhangi you could see it in their soulless eyes, they were there for blood. Aziz was shot dead in cold blood.

So unapata boy ana take up uthegi akidhani ni childs play…sahile usha kuwa initiated ndio inajua nikumoto ni janta high risk high pressure…msipo pay up hio ngiri salasa…ma king pin wana order usortiwe juu ham yeild fruits.
Enyewe vile @Supreme lexicons amesema hapo juu.

The nigga wa kayole was called mwane, ati ana dare Jessy akuje one on one coz manzi yake alikataa “kumuongozea” hessy aka murder dem yake Na akamshow hes next, but any way the chick was also a thug, so it’s good riddance.
Mwane is the one wid the Ak, true gangster for real, fool didn’t make it past 22yrs old.
Usisahau wallikua wame murder 2 uniformed cops, on patrol, in broad daylight, in kiambu, ndio Waka acquire the Ak

Them boys in the slums have lost all hope, are major depressed and add to it they’re abusing drugs…the thugging, stealing and wilding, knowing that they will be dropped is some sort of suicide pacts they make while they’re high.

They talk, discuss and laugh about Nani ata ‘kangwa’ mbele ya mwingine.

My two cedis.

You are right. There’s some writings or the other on how poverty and hopelessness dehumanises people and cheapens life. Ndio if you drive through slums and semi-formal settlements watu wanatembea tu barabarani not caring much that they are in the middle of the road. I however am not in the mood to apply myself to adding more value to this thought. But I do agree with it.

Uncomfortable & unforgiving aspects of life

:D:D:D

Panyaste ashawai piga mtu ngeta

Its a high risk high rewards career… watu wote hufanya vitu ziko na tension kaa hiyo manze huwa inabidi wajiachilie after gig kukamilika vipoa… kushukisha adrenaline…

P

Poverty ni yao. It can never be an excuse to resort to crime. Nothing appeals to me than the humility of a poor person- and they are many such people in the ghettos. It shows strength of character. Lakini if someone is poor and exhibits criminal tendencies I will have no empathy.

Its a well researched area… ile kitu ya marslow’s hierarchy of needs/wants… the lower you are the more meaningless life and values are…
