Advise on land sizes
I plan to buy land where I can practise farming and perhaps in future settle there.
I have found two piecess on sale and I’m torn on which one to go for. Both are in locations I’m comfortable with and have similar utilities such as access roads, power lines and water.
Think long term… what significant value will that location Accord you in future.
Is there a chance of a handsome land price increment in the area? Can the land be viable for rentals et Al?
Not that you will sell it… but life ni unpredictable. Kesho you may need 7million …can a bank carry that land in it’s books and Grant you? Maybe even for medical reasons
I’d go for the 1 acre. Farming on half an acre ni hasara tupu. Heri ufuge mbuzi basi. 1 acre is not good enough yet, but definitely better. If you really want to be a serious farmer, 3 acres minimum. for 1.2 you can get 3 good acres in ukambani or kajiado interior. It’s the crop you want to farm that should determine which land you buy.
