Thank you elder.

Congratulations Sir. How is the funding? Did they give you any scholarship? I have been dying to do my masters in one of the UK Unis but pesa ndio kizungumkuti banae. Hongera sana.

Is it a scholarship? School fees ni mangapi?

I’m attending as a fellow, so the issue of finances is taken care of. Try finding fellowships as opposed to applying to general masters programs. This is the direction I took. Identify your area of proposed research early and reach out to the faculty and pitch what you would offer. Make them feel that they are missing out by not having you on their program. You ought to put in a lot of work and research though. But remember, your dreams are valid. You just have to work and remain focused. Above all, let God show you the way.

If I was to pay, that would set me back a cool $65,000 yearly. But am attending as a fellow.

When are you starting? Next year? Please document your journey in this kijiji once you get there.

Congratulations!

Thanks elder. Definitely will. The semester kicks off in late September with my orientation happening on the 31st of August to 6th of September.
