Wa2 wa bodaboda hamutaona mbiguni

I remember it was on April 2017, when I met kamale my childhood friend akifanya kazi ya kuload mchanga hapo garrisa road, NI kazi ya kubahatisha ,mnakaa na vijiko mkiona lorry ya mchanga inaingia territory yenu mnarukia mnaenda ku offload ,mkiwa wachache Kila moja anaweza pata 200 , mkiwa wengi NI chwani chwani…

We chatted with him , n he told me angepata motorbike angepumuzika hiyo job sio mchezo … An idea crossed my mind !!! MbonA nisinunue bike ya bodaboda ?

I made few calls, an an old mzee called wakabura was selling his motorbike for 65k , I bargained nikauziwa 55k , nikaifanya service kidogo like changing oil, covers na new tyres so nikama ili range hiyo 65k … Nikatafuta Sacco n registered with kshs 15k …so my buddy wouldn’t strain to get clients …

JAMAA wangu hakuwa na jacket ,so nikamununulia yacket mzito asipatwe na phneumonia plus reflector, anzia kazi aiseeeeeeee…

We agreed aniletee 200/= daily sitaki mingi … 1st week akaniletea 600/= bob , I remember alinipata kwa pub , juu ya furaha nikaitisha jugs mbili NI 200/= na chrome mbili 400/= …tukalewa nikimshow akiwork hard we shall save the cash n purchase a new bike , isorait

The next day niliuza hiyo pikipiki 25k iniondokee sitaki stress …

 Nduthi ya ku hire out huwa na sarakasi mob kuliko matatu. Utapewa kiswahili ushangae. Mara imeharibika brakes, imetoboka tyre, imeshikwa na kanjo au karao, the headache is continuous. It reaches a point where Ukiona call ya huyo msee unaanza ku curse before picking.

And you’ll meet such fools blaming the government and claiming that there’s no employment…
despite the government creating a conducive environment.
This is what has partly contributed to reduced investment in the matatu industry.

Ujinga ya watu wengi ukijaribu kumsaidia or to atleast elevate his life anaona wewe ni fala na anafaa akutumie properly to get rich na anajipata amerudi default settings place yuko comfortable.

Employees kuna vile wanaanzanga kiburi especially kama the employer ni agemate wao. Na wakiulizia kazi walikuwa wanabeg.

Mimi nko na experience ya matatu…after buying a matatu, the next thing you ought to look for is a blood pressure machine

Transport business is very tricky if you are not the one driving the vehicle/motorcycle. Mimi siwezi jaribu. Unless it is a highly trusted person. Of which are rare.

Even trusted fellas start to ingiza you mdogo mdogo. If you are not driving/riding it yourself, you ain’t getting all your dues.

Some even sell the good spare parts and replace with old/faulty ones.

Methinks the whole these matatu cases are a class struggle. They assume since you can afford a motorbike or a matatu you are rich. Therefore you don’t money. Them the poor ones are the only ones who need money.

:D:D Kenyans must love pain and suffering. Why else would anyone invest in a matatu business?

Ni hali ya kutafta

I bought a Sky Go 125cc dash 3 towards the end if 2012 and gave it out to a friend’s bro afanye nayo works.
Agreed ataleta 300 bob daily Monday to Friday, then Sato na Sunday anajisort.
As DJ Afro says, maakosaaaa…
After a month of good returns, the guy akaanza kuwa slippery…
Mara kanji ilikula 500 Bob,Mara alishkikwa na karao akaroa 1k…
siku moja asubuhi nilipigiwa simu from the dealer aliyeniuzia ati nifike kiasi.
Long story short walinikula 20k.
Nduthi nilirudisha kwa Motorbike dealer akanipea 45k nikasonga.
Painful.

Thats how wicked they areh

I have been disappointed so many times by relatives in the same ways but I still want to help. However, from these stories I just feel like I won’t help anyone again!
