been using type C for almost two years now…advantage is no one will borrow you the charger or cable as few people use it…shida sasa ni when you forget the charger or cable…itabidi you go for it or if you cant , you have to buy a new one

OTG ni functionality wala sio brand. Ukiwa na a compatible phone unaweza tuma flash disk, mouse, keyboard etc kwenye kidude chako.
Some type C cables have just 4 wires two for data and two for power. Those are not any better than micro B types. Type c has 24 wires.
low end phones dont have USB-C for the simple reason of profit margins for phone makers.
I like the format because its robust and does not easily break. and partly because it can be inserted both ways. it also lacks those external latches that usually break or grow weak on other formats
