Naulizeko how’s uber taxi business faring as at this time (towards end of 2020)? I have an 8-5 job and I want to utilise my evening and weekends earning an extra dollar. I can raise about 500k and borrow the rest to buy a Honda Fit, which is what I prefer. I’ll personally drive the car. How viable is it? What are the things to watch out for.

You could perhaps think about something else. Uber is kinda flooded for now. Perhaps a well-equiped cereals store pale estate, a small filling station, and so on and so forth.

Si rahisi mse aende job 8 to 5pm alafu aingie job ingine 6 to 10 daily. Alafu consider that yeye amechukua loan which itakua due every month. Ni better iyo gari ikuwe kazi most of the time kama ni ya biz. Otherwise doe yote atamake itakua ya loan, ya fuel na kumaintain gari…hatakua na any benefit kwa life yake plus hatakua na time ya dame yake ama familia.

Kwanza Uber wanaingiza magari bado? Been stuck with Little Cab since Covid came walking into Kenya. Thankfully gari sio ya loan.
Bro, io kazi imekua tricky. Did it for 2 years till March, corona came and messed everything. Niliuza gari nikarudi 8-5 job. Its extremely flooded and somedays you will not even get 3 trips a whole day. I think its not worth it, at least until business picks up next year. Use that time after work with friends, family or even by yourself resting, going to the gym etc.
