Generally all Toyotas fall into 4 categories.

All they do is alter the body shape and interiors. The gearboxes and engines don’t vary much within the same family.

A Prado D4D engine is ssmes as the one on a Hilux D4D. So many parts are common eg the central locking, window motors, AC radiators etc.

Corrolas are one big family, the premio/camry are another big one, prado rav4 vanguard and crossovers are another, Then there is vitz and other 1300cc and below family. Landcruiser is a another. Toyota has very many cars and some like isis/noah etc seem redundant.

Yeap. Just like Isuzu uses the same cabin kwa FRR na FSR. Kumake production easier.
