What I don't understand is, why harm himself, if it's a drug stirring up violent tendencies, why turn the knife on himself? One would think he would direct his anger to whoever he's mad about. What he did is what the majority of men consider similar to commiting oneself to a living death

 She may not even have been aware of her actions. I get really concerned when someone takes something e.g. a drink and they can't remember what they did.
You can imagine not remembering such things. Drugs are bad. PCP is crazy. One guy ate a woman's liver after attacking her while on a bad PCP trip.

Humans, humans! These risky things start in small supposedly "harmless" habits, like some wild chick I once knew. She would hang out like crazy, then drink and drive herself home in the wee hours. One time my friend and I passed by her place just to check on her. We found her in bed at 3PM, her apartment door unlocked. The first thing she asked us is if we had seen her car outside. Then she said she had no idea how she got home. "My car brought me home". We were horrified, but she was just laughing.

She won't be laughing when she kills herself or others on the road.

It's best kuondokea anything with the potential to steal your memory, but hey, some say life's short--who cares? It's like playing the most beautiful music to a goat. You begin to look like the mad one when you try to draw people away from self-destruction.

She did not chew a black out since she was driving herself home, it's her memory that got affected such that she could not recall what happened. It's called retrograde amnesia. Alcohol affects how the nerves in the hippocampus communicate to each other and therefore causing inability to form and maintain short term memories.

Black out is a general term. If you drink too much, you can lose memory. I have found myself home just like that.

Even an alcohol blackout can mess you up badly. Just imagine finding out that you made lewd remarks and gestures at your boss at the Christmas party and you have no memory of it...guys showing you photos of yourself doing crap, like lying sprawled on the floor, or cradling your groin, or sleeping with your tie in your mouth, wearing a silly grin, and you can't remember!

She said she remembered leaving the club alone and starting the car, but she couldn't remember the trip home-- where she passed, how she drove or even arriving and parking. When we entered the house is when she woke up, and she thought it was morning.

Black out means losing consciousness.
Blacking out does not mean that a person becomes unconscious, like falling asleep. Instead, people often continue to interact with others, engage in routine or potentially dangerous behaviors, and even continue to drink. People who blackout may drive themselves home, engage in a sexual encounter, destroy property, spend too much money, or choose other risky behaviors.
