What is most shocking to me is that the police chief Ordondo in the 3rd precinct is a black man. Now I am realizing that even having black folk in office is not of any help

Side note:I don’t know why many Americans say, of instead of have. It’s like they didn’t even graduate high school who mistakes of and have? They don’t even sound alike.

A head cannot do anything about something systemic. They are put there to symbolize inclusivity, but the ranks below him dont respect him. He has no power

Like most successful black people in wazungu in countries however, he might be thinking he is special, that he is not like other blacks. It is us who see blackness in him, in his mind he doe not associate himself with blacks.

For your information, most recent black immigrants to US or EU talk trash about their home countries, they think it make them look good. If you doubt me, go to any facebook page Nigerian Igbos in US or Europe. They call their country a zoo

Street lingo. BTW American English is different from British in expression at least. What you hear on CNN is not how people talk on the streets.

Slang?
