Tesla

Tesla picked up another Buy rating on Monday from an analyst who sees Apple-like potential in the electric-vehicle pioneer.

Cannacord analyst Jonathan Dorsheimer upgraded Tesla (ticker: TSLA) shares to Buy and increased his price target from $419 to $1,071. That represents a 124% boost to his previous target price.

The upgrade sent Tesla stock up about 1.5% in premarket trading. S&P 500 and Dow Jones Industrial Average futures, for comparison, were both down about 0.1%.

Dorsheimer’s case is built around all of the different businesses Tesla is now involved in. He believes the auto maker is similar to a platform company like Apple(AAPL). Apple sells hardware such as phones and computers. It also offers music, entertainment, cloud, and other services on a subscription basis. Tesla, for its part, sells more expensive hardware–namely vehicles–and sells solar roofs and battery storage. It sells software and services such as self-driving upgrades for its vehicles and electricity via its nationwide charging network, too.

Many analysts have focused on the potential of Tesla’s self-driving software and its future robotaxi service. Dorsheimer, however, believes energy storage is a large opportunity as well. He projects $8 billion in energy storage sales by 2025.

Hii stock ungenunua last year when it was trading at $300, then waka announce giga Shanghai ikapanda hadi $1000

After years of dismissing Tesla - it didn’t make sense and still doesn’t in a traditional way - I finally put a few cents on Tesla last week. I’m up 7% since.

Everyone is a genius in a bull market. We are certainly near the top now. Things will get very very interesting in the next 3 years. And I don’t mean interesting in a good way for most people.

I’ve had Tesla stocks for some time. My question right now is whether to buy more or wait.
Following closely…

Tesla/ Elon Musk is famous when we are talking about share prices, and not famous for anything else. Elon Musk is a fraud who sells hype. Elon Musk sells illusions. Tesla/Elon Musk does not offer any solution to any problem facing anyone.

Hold until gigaberlin imalizike that’s if Tesla won’t have further problems in China or if they manage to meet their production projections

Sani, EV and autonomous vehicles is the next dot-com boom. Let’s carefully analyze the unfolding events.

yeap, but what challenge will they be solving?

Climate change.

KPLC gets over 50% of its power from Parasitic Owners of Capital who use Diesel Generators.
We’ve been polluting our environment for only 100 years, too short for us to make conclusions about climate changes and patterns.

Buy some more. Infact buy as many shares as you can. Ze future is electric vehicles and Tesla leads the pack. Ten years down the line, you will be glad you did.
Can a Vumbistani buy such shares? How?

Sani, the powers that be make those decisions. We are right at the cusp of the 4th industrial revolution. You either adapt and thrive or ignore emerging trends and get left behind. When computers first came out there are people who stood their ground and resisted change but soon, a technology wave came and swept them into oblivion.

too bad they dont accept outside investors .Their clients are their employees .

Medallion uses a black box system. Only employees of the fund know how the system works and the fund is closed to outside investors. The employees have signed multiple non-compete and non-disclosure agreements and have a vast portion of their personal wealth in that fund.

Interesting. Although I’m averse to paying any management fees. What I’ve done is buy a subscription at Zacks.com and The Motley Fool for hints then afterwards I make my own decisions.

@Purple , any experience with Teeka Tiwari?

Climate change has the markings of another scam. And already hopelessly politicized to be studied objectively

When you argue kindly try to put the whole picture into perspective(most of your arguments are one sided). At what expense do electric cars help solve climate changes? Lets argue for once ,where do the raw materials to produce electric cars come from ? I watched a video not long doing an environmental assessment of electric vs diesel/petrol cars. The results ,electric cars are more harmful.
