I recently found out that I somehow subscribed to a service that costs 10bob daily. I don’t even know what the service does. I ended up unsubscribing after finding out my airtime is depleted.
Now I get this notification. This might be how I unexpectedly subscribed. These flash messages pop up and take advantage of one’s muscle memory assuming it’s info messages.

You did not subscribe to anything. That is how the messaging services make their cash, working in cahoots with Telkom employees. They will subscribe you to a service and make you believe that you did it accidentally. Once they did that to me and casually told me off when I complained. They only refunded the money after I credibly threatened them with legal action.
