I heard this song in one of the documentaries made in 1950s. The swahili had some sort of panache. Unfortunately they were slavers and despised watu wa bara in favor of fvcking Arabs. The lamu swahili and poetry is the best. I don’t understand why we chose ugunja swahili which is pretty luckluster.
