Its 2021 but I still use Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit.
When I bought my latest laptop it had Win 10 Pro but I downgraded it to Windows 7 simply because Windows 10 is troublesome and keeps on download endless updates.

I have also had the choice of dual booting Windows 10 and KDE Linux but then I still find myself falling back to Windows 7.

Already some softwares are not available on win 7. It will reach a time where you will be forced to either upgrade to win 10 or just go to Ubuntu.
Hang on to it for as long as you can. I believe in getting as much out of whatever I have spent on for as long as is practically possible. And Linux belongs in datacenters.
