You arent much fan of sci fi movies. That would have been obvious since childhood. My question, since the retirement how have they been landing back to earth?? Also, was that sliding through the streets necessary or a show off?

I think gliding should be a must for every pilot flying commercial aeroplanes.

All these years I thought that a space shuttle’s electric components are powered by batteries or solar panels. Turns out there are fuel tanks of liquid oxygen and liquid hydrogen which react to create electricity and subsequently generate water for consumption.
