Situation at the SGR

Time i started queuing : 5.30am. Situation at the SGR. Tickets get bought out in 10min. As one boda boda guy buys 700 tickets yet the train capacity is 1200 seats…

They are bieng sold for ksh. 1500 in muthurwa market…

So someone will make (700 x 800 =ksh. 560,000)
On a daily basis…

In a week… Its 3.9 million.

In a month its ksh.117,000,000

mambasani twasija!!!

What do you mean by ‘situation’?

Karibuni sana, welcome, lakini hakuna kuswim na boxer au biker, kuna swimming trunks and costumes for that, na kaa hupendi sehemu zako nyeti @Liberty hires out the same kwa kibanda yake hapo pirates

I mean… Hali ilivyo…

Oh I see. For some reason I only saw pictures and no text.

@The.Black.Templar @Luther12 si i told you guys hizi tickets zinauzwa muthurwa mkaona ni jokes!

Waongeze tu the frequency of the trains waache ufala.
If the demand is there what else do they want?

ate whaaat?..bodaboda guy buys what 700? and his is still driving a Boxer? I give up.

They should print the passenger’s name kwa ticket when you buy it

and who is that teller that sells him 700 tickets? is that even possible? even ten tickets will raise alarms. With such queues he can’t say he goes and comes back. Unless there is an employee doing fishy business. It is very easy with CCTV to pinpoint whoever is doing that

Mtu wa kawaida unaambiwa u can only buy maximum of 5 tickets!

Pesa Lazima watu watengeze wewe shinda hapo.

I don’t know how they are doing it… But they are… By 6.15am Monday train was fully booked…
For you to get a ticket, you need to be queuing by 5.am for an advance ticket.

Think it’s time we also looked at this as security issue,if people have already infiltrated the ticket selling department what’s to stop people with nefarious intentions from infiltrating the security department and cause chaos on the trains!

I KEEP ASKING, IF THE DEMAND IS THERE AND IT TAKES FOUR HOURS TO GET TO MSA/NBO, WHY CAN’T THE BUGGERS SIMPLY TURN THE TRAINS AROUND AND DO MORE TRIPS?

THEORETICALLY, ONE TRAIN SHOULD BE ABLE TO DO FIVE TRIPS IN A DAY!

that also means around 700 passengers pass by muthurwa to get the mwitus before 9 AM to get the train… I do not deny that there may be unscrupulous brokers, just that the number of tickets (700) is too high a number and too risky even to the seller. The exposure is too high for him and even I can get to him

Have you seen the profits they stand to make in a day? That kinda money can buy you immunity anywhere in kenya!
Sad but true!

Stress ya bure panda basi
