Capitalism fundamentalism is a disease. You look at everything and ask “what is the economic benefit of this”.
Children, not everything has to have a economic benefit.
Just because you can’t reduce an idea into a dollar amount doesn’t mean it doesn’t have other benefits.
Also, highest benefit is not always the right choice.
You could sell one of kidneys for plenty of cash and live comfortably with the other but do you actually want that?
I like the way such stories cut out that last part to greatness, like how you got your big break, how did you land that job, that deal, how do you go from hawker potential house girl to dinning with the great women and men - that is what motivates people.

I don’t know why people are dumb. I learnt zamani in the states employers would go through social media sites to scope you out. And whatever you said there they might use against you. That’s why I barely have pics anywhere. Or comments or nothing… These things come back to haunt you.
