Born in 1993? So young! Or maybe I’m getting old. He died a very painful death, if only someone had tied a tourniquet on his upper arm he would still be alive. A healthy, young adult male can loose upto 1.5-2 liters of blood without much of an issue. About one month ago a guy presented to us with half his wrist hanging after a work related accident. A machine had sliced his wrist but he’s fine now, because of someone’s quick action of tying a tourniquet which halted blood loss.
It probably had to be applied at the scene from the time it happened. But generally people are clueless to help. Have very little understanding of first aid.
If someone decides to attack you unprovoked with a knife, theres very little you an do. It has nothing to do with your upbringing. I have seen men lose their lives.
Of course the attacker is a police officer and so she understands the law well and comes up with a bs sexual attack story. How can someone invite a police officer to his house and then proceed to sexually assault her.

Torniquets are discouraged nowadays. Pressure dressing does the same job of minimizing bleeding and also reduce contamination of the wound
