Shieet! I ain't got the patience for this.
She actually has her own make up line but damn it takes forever to get her makeup done. You know what makeup I'd pay top dollar for? Instant makeup. The 5 minutes I spend on the mirror is too much time for me. What kept me watching was the way she's singing along and dancing to that freaky music, it's hilarious. These black Americans though. I guess the soul never grows old. How do you like them fake eye lashes. Kuna watu wako na Roho they put on those lashes EVERYDAY. I wouldn't do it if you paid me. I hate anything near me eyes. I don't even use eye liner or eyeshadow coz I'm scared it'll get in my eyes and irritate my eyes.

Yeah... She's having fun.

I can't, even the 5minute makeup would tire me. It takes me longer to brush my teeth than it takes me to get ready. Roll on, Lotion, (this I add glycerine so that it moisturizes better and soaks up quickly :D) dash of perfume and that's it. I don't even trim my brows, so them fake eye lashes would need a divine intervention.

If it wasn't for my hair routine (natural curly and kinky like hell) that requires a mirror in the bathroom, coz of sectioning when conditioning and oiling, I wouldn't care for a mirror.

Natural hair is the most time consuming drama wah!!! I love long dreads but natural hair is alot of work. I followed Tricia Naturals after watching Good Hair by Chris Rock how bad relaxer is. I was like natural hair here I come but after following Tricia Naturals for a week I was like bring on the relaxer. God will have to forgive me for not loving my natural hair and trying to ape jungu hair bcz it's easier to manage. Mad respect for yall naturalistas. Wah!!! With this Covid I'm still going to salons that can tell you how much I fear my 4C hair. I want to delegate everything to do with it. Imagine this is just wash day.

Haha! It's not easy I know. Takes me 45min to an hour to clean, detangle and condition. My hair is thick and queen of shrinkage. You know that type that a stretched strand will go all the way to the shoulder but ukiachilia ina coil hadi kwa maskio? Yeah, that one. Only wide toothcombs, and fingers to detangle a little section at a time. Can't even comb a quarter section as a whole. And I need a spray bottle every morning....

But it feels good.

I know it feels good. Sometimes I try to fake it like if it's rained on or something that makes it look natural. Usually I can pull it off immediately after a retouch because it is relatively soft but growth ikianza I can't dare. Nashuka immediately coz I don't want to suffer. I suffered enough as a kid with natural hair. Kushukwa was a painful experience and I think I still have PTSD but I have a very gentle hairdresser no matter how tangled it is she'll find a way to minimize your suffering plus she has grower hands. Grows hair mpaka people be asking you if it's a weave. I'm crazy about long dreads but I don't have the patience for it.
