If you have been keenly following Kenyan politics you will realize that Senators mostly make decisions that of major public interest compared to national assembly. Its only place where tyranny of numbers rarely work. I think Senate should be made an upper house and be responsible for vetting cabinet ministers, judges of the supreme court and major constitutional bodies as opposed to National Assembly. The senate should also have the power to review the legislation passed by the national assembly. If the BBI had focused on such things instead of creating of positions i would have supported it
Senate is the upper house but konyagi wants his own ichaweri made interpretation of the law.

Yet kenyans are being convinced to butcher something they fought for for 50 years.
Remember this devolved government is what was originally created by lancaster delagates before kenyatta 1 used Mboya to butcher the constitution like the current one is using parliament, muturi, and raila to destroy the sacred will of the people to create another kanu like government.
Mboya and other beneficiaries of the new fake system were shot or tortured to death even though they thought that they were exempt to the draconian system they were creating.

the problem with the few numbers there is that its easier to bribe them and over-turn major decisions…
