Samsung Galaxy Quantum 2 5G with 6.7-inch Quad HD+ 120Hz Infinity-O AMOLED display, Snapdragon 855 Plus, quantum security chip announced

After rumours, Samsung has announced Galaxy Quantum 2 (SM-A826S) in partnership with SK Telecom in South Korea. This is the successor to last year’s Galaxy A Quantum which was introduced as the world’s first 5G smartphone with quantum random number generation (QRNG) chipset. Even this has a QRNG (Quantum Random Number Generator) chipset with the world’s smallest size (2.5 mm wide x 2.5 mm long) like its predecessor.

“The quantum random number generation chipset helps to use security-critical services such as authentication, finance, and messengers more safely by generating unpredictable and unpatterned pure random numbers,” said the company.

It has a 6.7-inch Quad HD+ AMOLED 120Hz Infinity-O Display, Snapdragon 855+, 6GB RAM, 64MP triple rear cameras, 10MP front camera and a 4500mAh battery with 25W superfast charging.

Price on amazon, around $650.

I’d still go for the LG Velvet.

I was shopping for a new phone and I am shocked. There are much cheaper phones that are now available.
The difference between a 64MP camera and a 13MP camera is infinitesimal.

For 7,000:

This one is truly cheap but not good to buy. Older phones should be former flagships or former ultra-upper-mid-rangers for their worth. 2016 is way too long ago for a budget smartphone.

A 2016 phone in 2021 is like buying clothes that you used to wear when you were a kid. They won’t fit. Saa hii kama unataka kununua simu isipite 2018 and it should be a flagship phone. Likes of S8 et al

No disrespect but you are shocking your way into extreme disappointment

32GB internal in 2021?

The iPhone 5 SE proved you can put high specs in a 5" device.
The Google Pixel 4 proved 12MP can give you better image quality than 48MP.

The difference in Processor is so small. 66vs75 points, the difference in price is SO BIG!
MediaTek Helio X20 vs Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus: What is the difference?

I hate everything SAMSUNG after buying a SAMSUNG PHONE and the battery bringing problems after a few months!
I hate everything NOKIA after buying a NOKIA PHONE and the processor overheating AFTER 5 MONTHS!

If your photos are backed-up in the cloud, what do you need all that space for? Very curious. Usiseme APPS hio ni mingi sana

But then, honestly, you really don’t have to pick a 2016 budget phone. Halafu the phone is a LeTv Leeco, of all good phones!

I’d recommend the Huawei Ascend Mate 8, if not the Mate 9.There is also the LG G6 if not the v20. There is also the Sony Xperia Z5 Premium. There are many other alternatives. And if it must be a LeTv Leeco, why not the Leeco Le Max 2?

What about LG G5?

The G6 is newer, waterproof and dustproof. Besides, the G5 costs almost the same as the G6. I could have recommended the V10 as well, only that both the V10 and the G5 are said to be among the few Lg handsets that had the worst bouts of the dreaded Lg bootloops.
