Producers around should take notes.

Representing East and Central Africa in Dubstep. Kenyan made.

Dude, this is not dubstep. The kick and snare/ arrangement is not up to standard i.e. dubstep arrangement. Levels of sub bass is not on par with most dubstep beats

However, the sample and the wobble effects ziko on point. I've been listening to dubstep for a while i.e over 10 yrs of experience and what I can say is most people don't know the difference between:
I) Dubstep and Bro step
II) Dubstep and liquid dub
III) Dubstep and Trapstep/festival trap

Kuna so many sub genres of dubstep. Ni kama house kidesign i.e. afro house, kwaito, deep house, tropical house etc.

You have to follow the proper beat arrangement for your beat to be considered dubstep. Sio kumake growls and wobble bass pekee yake.

I would classify this beat as brostep.

you are using a very different subgenre to make a relative comparison
house is piano synth heavy, if not driven by it, so sioni vle unasema ni kama house kedesign, especially how tropical house is usually minimalistic

huyu jamaa wa kelele akiskiza Power Electronics atashat himself

Wewe ndio hujaelewa. I used house as an example to show you it's subgenres. Kama vile dubstep ikona subgenres zake. Buda, najua dubstep na house ni two totally different genres of EDM.

Shida ya most newbies wa dubstep ni kukosa kudifferentiate hizi subgenres. Unapata mtu anatengeneza brostep akifikiri ni dubstep.

Kama ukona mneti, download
Skrillex - Bangarang
Skrillex - Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites
DeadMau5 - Raise Your Weapon
(good examples of brostep)
alafu u compare it with:

Excision and Datsik ama Doctor P (legends of the dubstep game) e.g.
Excision and Datsik - Ruffneck
Doctor P - Sweet shop
Downlink - Gamma Ray Burst
Caspa - Where's My Money
(Classical dubstep songs)

NB: (Copy Pasted)
Unlike traditional dubstep production styles, which emphasise sub-bass content, brostep accentuates the middle register and features "robotic fluctuations and metal-esque aggression".

Remember that in my previous post, I emphasized on sub bass. Ata ukiskiza hii beat vipoa, it sounds robotic and metal-esque.The Subs aren't on point. That's why I classified it as brostep. My knowledge of EDM (and dubstep in particular is colossal)

if it's colossal, you should know Deadmau5 is an outlier , not a dubstep artist

the problem with copy pasting ideas, rather than using them to stimulate/formulate your own, ni what in the hell is "metallic aggression".

if i were the one telling a niggy to listen and make comparisons, I'd rather espouse on the differences. you yourself can hear them aurally, right? so why not put them down in words as a vet

but seriously though, your wording was not coherent. that "nikama house" can be interpreted two ways, not how you WANT it to mean.

You make me laugh banae. Who doesn't know that DeadMau5 does progressive house music. Ata yeye mwenyewe alisema he hates producing dubstep music (Did an extensive interview) Occasionally he does make dubstep.

Wacha nikuchanue kidogo, he actually helped Skrillex produce his first brostep album and the song Raise Your Weapon was the first brostep song kuperformiwa VMA's (MTV)

Kama hukuelewa 'ni kama house' comment, that's on your side. As 4 wewe kukosa kuelewa what metallic aggression means
:D:D:D

Ata niko na producer najua wagwan kutoka huku Kenya (underground lakini) He's been making dubstep for a while (5 yrs+)

He always sends me his tracks nizirate according to dubstep standards. Akaona vile unanicriticise kwa hii forum, anaeza cheka yake yote.

Stori ya kucopy paste ideas ni wewe. I just wanted to show you that hadi ile in4 iko kwa internet agrees with my concept/views on the fundamental differences between dubstep. I never take credit for other people's work, hence the copy paste quote.

(Not Copy Pasted)

@bra bra cupship,

Dubstep evolved from Drum and Bass and UK garage subgenres, hence the emphasis/ importance of sub bass in dubstep. Wobbly sub bass is a huge characteristic in DnB and UK Garage tracks. The story is that producers who made/ came up with dubstep were actually trying to make DnB and Garage music but we're doing it wrongly. Instead of arguing, just be humble and download the tracks I recommended earlier pamoja na hizi tracks za DnB na UK garage.

Distorted Minds - Ho Bass
Dan Miracle - Digital Data VIP
Chase n Status - No Problem (Classic FIFA track)

(Drum and Bass tracks)

Yeah man. Naeza katuma link ya beat yake moja. Akona na beats kadhaa on sound cloud. Dude is a top producer. Wachana na stori za Magix Enga ati best producer in East Africa. (Not hating on his work. Ni venye bado haijawarrant yeye kujipiga kifua vile amezoea)

Ata mwenye hii thread can tell you that hapa kwa graooh, maproducer wakona talent na work ethic ni wengi sana. Shida ya kenya ni moja tu. Our government doesn't support artists and producers from a grass roots level.

Alafu wale maproducer wamemake it don't like competition. Huwa hawadai kusaidia upcoming producers waingie kwa market. The claim being that itakua oversaturated.

What a load of horse shit :meffi::meffi::meffi:

just stop

there are so many holes in your post above

and since you are gagging for it;

seems like you 'realized' later that Deadmau5 does not make dubstep, but you went ahead to use a subgenre misnomer

you are holding on what your friend would think of me —— (also, I asked about YOUR interpretation of metallic aggression. YOUR ANSWER should have been either the clang of metal effects in plugged beats, or heavy-metal like urgency, asshole) —— not what your perception of me is

standards are not theories that can't be put into words, unless you are like that kelele jamaa above whose telling apart of nuances is limited to subbass and wobbleness.

next statement, there you go again mentioning other people, without original ideas. sio lazima useme copy pasted, i could net search your phrases if I was as insecure as you feverishly come across.

go and actually learn how to listen to dubstep
sheesh, dude

Kama umeanza matusi, wacha stori ikomee hapo. You can take the title of self appointed dubstep guru. In due time, we'll see who has the last laugh.

Ikifika stori ya DeadMau5, you never even mentioned his main genre. We uliona nimesema he produces dubstep (of which it's true) ukarukia kucriticize. The same way you were quick to criticize me when I used tropical house as an example to illustrate the different subgenres of dubstep. In your own words, you only said that he is an outlier. Ama ulitaka nikuambie hadi penye anaishi?

Shida yako kubwa ni a lack of proper understanding. Wewe unataka kuelewa vitu kivyako hadi you twist words to make someone look like he's wrong.

This is a dubstep/brostep thread and I happened to mention one of his tracks.

I don't need to insult you, just because we've disagreed on something. The next time you start talking about insecurities, go look in the mirror. Enyewe seriously, who uses words like sheesh amongst men.

Madame pekee ndio mi huskia wakitumia hiyo jina.

Excision and Datsik ama Doctor P (legends of the dubstep game) e.g.
I'm a huge Excision and Datsik fan.
Skrillex ni overrated. Producers ni wengi walikuwa wakali kuliko Skrillex. Kwanza wa Firepower Records.
Hii style yangu si Brostep. Robostep na Deathstep ni subgenre pia.
Huyo producer wako underground anaitwaje nimcheki.

Excision and Datsik ni ma O.G wa Dubstep. Ni kama Outkast ikifika stori za Hip-Hop. I really like the track Swagga. A true classic.

Ikifika stori za Skrillex, sio ati anakuwanga mbaya production wise. People hate him because he commercialized dubstep. You'll notice that Classical Dubstep tracks hazinanga views mingi YouTube. Ikifika stori za Dubstep it's not the amount of views on YouTube you have. It's whether your beat is dope and high quality. Lakini akona tracks kadhaa kali e.g Make It Bun Dem, Scary Monsters And Nice Sprites.

Huyo producer anaitwa Brian Nyaga on SoundCloud.Com. You can check his SoundCloud page. Ameeka beats zake mob hapo.

In the mean time, naeza eka link hapa hivi uskie beat yake moja.
