When Spiro Agnew resigned in 1973 as Nixon’s VP Gerald Ford was appointed as his replacement.
When Nixon resigned from Presidency it elevated Ford to POTUS.
Ford became first POTUS not elected by the people/EC. Such is luck.

Yea, it’s increasingly clear that Biden will either die in office or become incapacitated due to a brain illness… dementia or a stroke. He has had two major brain surgeries already.
If not Kamala Harris, then it will be either Susan Rice or Karen Bass…though I have a feeling Kamala will be Biden’s VP.
It’s also increasingly clear Trump is coming back for 4 more years of Bull in China shop.
