Having being mistreated by matatu crews and touts a scheme was hatched .John decided it was time to teach them a lesson so every friday he would pack his garbage in paper bags board a matatu and leave it there.
Another strategy was to pack dead animals in boxes eg cats dogs and leave them inside the matatu.
The touts and fellows who quickly come to carry your luggage so that you can pay them exorbitant costs .He would carry two bags his real ones strapped on his back but another which he carried on his hand filled with garbage but packed well.immediately he would alight the touts or porters would grab the bag carrying it to ask for money. He would walk in a different direction leaving them with stinky garbage.
Another is to punish supermarkets who surcharge you for losing the luggage tags or forgetting luggage. So he would deposit his luggage which of course is garbage leave it at the supermarket .Then go with the tag .
