Thank the fans uproar that forced glazers to move for him since last night. Basically had Man City signed him for free as they wanted without a rival bid from Man Utd then that would be the last straw for glazers.
Secondly Rio and other Ex Man Utd players called him to change his mind. He informed there was no bid from Man Utd. They turned to OT for answers. That pressure also pushed glazers to start the bid.
Luckly for us Juventus had not agreed on a free transfer. Man City had hoped that saving Juventus CR7 wages of £450,000 weekly would be enough. FIAT pays half of CR7 wages in Juve. However Man Utd bid £15M and Juventus was happy to accept that.as they were still paying Real Madrid for his transfer. Permission was given to talk to player. Man Utd gave the contract offer not to ole but Sir Alex to call Ronaldo. Being his second Dad then it was wise. He happily agreed to join even before the exact financial details were discussed. SAF phonecall was enough.
