The quicker you adapt to the people who live there and their culture, the smoother your transition will be. Spend the first few months learning your principal, fellow teachers, parents and students well. First impressions matter ALOT and they last forever so fake it til you make it. If you’re an introvert or not really a people person, fake it. Remember the first few months you are on interview mode.
