What’s the purpose of the church?
To me the church is there to help me grow closer to God. Hizo zingine hapana tambua. Whether pastor ni mlaghai or not, what matters is, how is my relationship with God… It’s that simple.

How do you grow closer when someone has hijacked the boat and requires bribes in the name of tithes to steer the boat in the right direction. It is better to belong to none than be in the wrong one, otherwise you will never ever into the land of rest and freedom. You will forever be burdened with oppressive conditions all meant to corrupt your course and make you unworthy to ever hear from God.
We learnt that the Kingdom of God is within us. You can access Him from anywhere…
