Man Is Still Primitive Despite Discovering Fire, Electricity & Fusion

Interplanetary travel will be the next frontier.

no shit sherlock?

There are other fields of study that would help man. Reversing aging by editing the DNA to be like those of early man

Modern humans have much longer lifespans than our ancestors. Early man was lucky to see 30 years on this Earth.

I am not talking about adding 10 years to our life span, am talking about adding 200 or 300 years like akina Enoch, by then people will be flying to Mars and other Solar systems within the Milky Way Galaxy

How do you believe in science (DNA, interstellar travel) and at the same time believe people lived for centuries in biblical times?

Enoch did not live during the biblical times. His story is much older, it was only stolen and included on the short biblical time frame of 6000 years ago.

We are in a zoo here. Every 300K years earth is formated by its owners and new humans are introduced

We have dynasty for planet earth

@FieldMarshal CouchP disagrees.

Year 2065- longevity treatments able to halt aging.

subsequent decades witnessed a revolution in medicine, with major advances in the use of stem cells, gene therapy, 3D printing of body parts, nanotechnology and other techniques. Ever more sophisticated, powerful, and compact devices gained the ability to scan, identify and treat the most elusive of bodily defects at scales previously thought impossible. Exponential progress, aided by the prevalence of deep learning and other AI techniques, enabled the “longevity escape velocity” to edge closer and closer – first in mice, then later in monkeys, and finally in humans, with 12 months per year of additional lifespan being added.

Year 2067- 1st generation of anti-matter powered spacecrafts are emerging

By the late 2060s, the first prototype antimatter-powered spacecraft is demonstrated.li[/li]
The “fuel” for this vessel consists of tiny pellets containing deuterium and tritium – heavy isotopes of hydrogen with one or two neutrons, respectively, in their nuclei (hydrogen normally has no neutrons). Inside each pellet, this fuel is surrounded by uranium. A beam of anti-protons, with an electrical charge of minus-1, is then fired at the pellets. When the anti-protons collide with the uranium nuclei, they annihilate, generating vast amounts of energy which triggers fusion reactions in the fuel. This provides thrust via magnetic confinement and a magnetic nozzle.

Using this propulsion system, a trip to Jupiter can be achieved in just four months, using 1.16 grams of anti-protons. By the 2070s, a number of crewed missions are being conducted. Further advances in antimatter and ship designs pave the way for interstellar travel in the 22nd and 23rd centuries.

i believe death ushers in births.

so if we stop/postpone death, will we still be giving births or we must also find a way to delay/reduce births to find the perfect balance?

The fancy anti-aging technology will only be available in the advanced countries where people don’t seem to want children anyway.

There’s a difficulty in predicting future technology in that inventions deviate from their original use. E.g. the web and computer were first used by the military, no one imagined the web would be so ubiquitous as it is today.

Secondly, seemingly unrelated technological innovations combine together to yield previously unconceived technology. This combination may be hard to forsee and may yield interesting surprises.

Thirdly, events such as World War II hastened technological advances and so did the space race. In our case maybe the effects of climate change in years to come might be the much needed catalyst.

…and what are you doing about it? Ama nimdomo unapiga bure?

that will work perfectly.

so basically, be immortal and stop new births
