KRA Itax Online Sys Sabotage

How can the tax payers system be down for 2weeks… A system the cost an arm and a leg to put up… I bet the bastards have figured out a way to take the system down just like they did Simba system…we all know KRA is a den of vultures… Alafu nipate fine for filling VAT late… MTU amulike hawa watu watoe hio bugg in the system.

So hauja file paye pia ? My end has been working pretty well. Try using a different browser.

Ikikataa, chukua screen shot ya hizo downtime. Uki apply waiver ya penalty, that will be part of the evidence.

Lipanga ushuru mapema ujitegemee.

that system is maintained at a very high cost. mashida ya mkenya si kidogo

Their One Time Password (OTP) mail verification System has been down for like three weeks and it seems they are really riding comfortably on the downtime

Hehe…sio iTax pekee. All online gov’t websites ziko hivyo saa hii and always are for at least two weeks in a month. Uliza watu wanajaribu kupata services kwa NTSA TIMS, GHRIS, DHIS, etc watakwambia the struggle is real. Whoever is responsible does a very shoddy job.

Hio process ya kuapply for waiver is time wasting… Niende station yangu Nairobi west… Write a letter stating why I deserve the waiver… Sina hio time… These guys need to pull up their socks.

iTAX is done by those TATA wahindis. They have milked KRA dry with that Oracle-based system that they customise for them. Who still uses Excel sheets with macros to upload data? Archaic!

DHIS2 and GHRIS! Do they even work at all?

These GoK ICT cowboys are such a big joke! For instance, a whole government has never efficiently delivered results for about 1m KCPE students - SMS is a fraud; Website is a hoax. Just dumping the results into a database, writing a query based on the index number and displaying the results. Such a simple task and they struggle to do it.

The same inefficiency is being felt in the school selections and will be experienced shortly in the KCSE results.

I don’t know why they do this. Maybe so that they can outsource these systems to the likes of Web Tribe for billions of KES and get generous kickbacks in return.
