High schools are no different from jail when it comes to medical care. Just hope a serious illness never strikes your child. The problem with our schools is that they are now terribly overcrowded. The national school I took my son in the 1980s for example had 600 students and was among the biggest in the country. And mind you that was mpaka Form 6.
Now I hear the school has over 3,000 pupils.
How they manage that number of teens is just beyond me…
